What is Journey The Breath?

Journey The Breath introduces you to the powerful practice of Conscious Connected Breathwork, a transformative approach that taps into the ancient wisdom of your breath.

 

Through this practice, you will learn how to engage in a deliberate, rhythmic pattern of breath that goes beyond ordinary breathing.

 

By consciously connecting with your breath, you can release stagnant energy, promoting a sense of renewal and vitality
throughout your being.

 

Pat, with seven years of training and experience in breathwork and various healing modalities, offers online classes, workshops, and personalized sessions.

 

These offerings are tailored to support individuals seeking a
body-based approach to wellness and healing. Whether you are looking to improve physical health, enhance mental well-being, or explore emotional healing, these sessions provide a safe and nurturing space to embark on your personal journey of transformation.

Weekly Online Classes
(Donation Based)

Pat hosts two weekly online donation-based ‘Journey The Breath’ classes every week, Thursday evenings at 7.30pm Irish time.

For the class, you’ll need a place where you can lie down comfortably and undisturbed for an hour. Please read through the contraindications before signing up for the class. Registration is free. If you enjoy and are in a position to give a donation it is very much appreciated.

These workshops are a great option for those who have tried out the online ‘Journey The Breath’ classes and want to deepen their knowledge and understanding of breathwork whilst connecting with other like-minded
individuals in a supportive small group environment.

 

You will experience therapeutic and functional breathing techniques, a guided breathwork and somatic healing journey with sounding and bodywork, personal growth exercises, group work and more.

Can't make the live sessions? You can join the free community and gain access to some recent replays as well as other resources to support you on your journey. 

1-2-1 Breathwork and Somatic Healing Packages

A limited number of one-to-one breathwork and somatic healing sessions are available with Pat in Galway. These sessions can include a selection of breathwork modalities alongside TRE (Trauma Release Exercises) and
deep bodywork to support trauma release, emotional integration, deep rest and increased awareness.

 

These two-hour sessions are priced at €300 (+VAT) and include follow-up resources, ’daily practice’ recommendations and email support.

disease, high blood pressure, or stroke, should exercise caution and consult with a healthcare professional before participating in intense breathwork practices.

 

Epilepsy or Seizure Disorders:
Breathwork techniques involving intense breathing patterns can potentially trigger seizures in individuals with epilepsy or seizure disorders. It is crucial for those with such conditions to consult with their healthcare provider before engaging in breathwork practices.
 

Recent Surgeries or Injuries:
If you have undergone recent surgery or have any acute injuries or physical conditions that may be aggravated by intense breathwork or physical movement, it is advisable to wait until you have fully recovered or consult with a healthcare professional before participating.
 

Pregnancy:
Pregnant individuals should approach breathwork practices with caution, especially those involving intense breath patterns or physical movement. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare provider to determine whether breathwork is suitable during pregnancy.


Mental Health Conditions:

While breathwork can be beneficial for emotional healing, individuals with certain mental health conditions, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or dissociative disorders, may need to approach breathwork practices with caution. It is essential to consult with a mental health professional to ensure
the practice aligns with your specific needs.

 

Respiratory Conditions:
Individuals with severe respiratory conditions, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), severe asthma, or other lung disorders, should approach breathwork practices with caution. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before engaging in intense breathwork.
